Bathinda

The city of Bhatinda is one of the oldest cities located in the Indian state of Punjab. This city is located in the Bhatinda district, and it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the state. This is mainly due to Bhatinda’s bustling culture and heritage, as many foreigners and locals from other states flock to Bhatinda in order to experience Punjabi culture and traditions.

Bhatinda is also a major religious centre in Punjab, as there are many places of religious significance like the Quila Mubarak in the city. This monument is a very tall one that is located in the city, and it is made up of entirely small bricks. You can also visit the Bahia fort once you reach Bhatinda. This site was built during the 1930s and has now been converted into a hotel.

You can also visit the Gurudwara located in the Lakhi jungle. This gurudwara is a major centre for Sikhs across the country and it is located in the middle of a forest. Other interesting places that you can visit in Bhatinda include Chetak Park, Zoological Garden, Dhobhi Bazaar and the Mazaar of Peer Haji Rattan. The Mazaar is a very important pilgrim destination.
